About Myself

Michele Rouse Administrative Virtual Assistant

My Story

Michele Rouse Administrative Virtual Assistant’s core values are respect, loyalty and integrity (sprinkled with a little sense of humour).

800x800 I had the best mentor a person could have when I worked with Gordon Wiggins, a partner at Sullivan Mahoney LLP.

Growing up in a small town I learned the value of lending a helping hand and being a part of the community.

After helping my father in his insurance office I moved to the big city of St. Catharines and worked at The Co-operators Insurance and then moved on to Sullivan Mahoney LLP, staying there for 30 years.

I am known for my organizational skills, confidentiality, and trustworthiness.

Every client is different and what works for one won’t work for another. I’ve learned to be adaptable and we can discuss what works best for you.

I am an easy-going and flexible person and I think you will find that I can help you with whatever you need. You can rest assured that everything will be held in the strictest of confidence and I will share the same values as you and your company.

Scales of Justice

WHAT I HAVE FOUND IS when lawyers are starting their career they are busy thinking about the legal issues and not the administrative end of things.  They are short on funds, usually disorganized, always in a hurry because they left things to the last minute and feel frustrated and overwhelmed.  Senior lawyers just have an abundance of clients and can use the extra help once in a while.

SO WHAT I DO IS help the new lawyer get organized as much or as little as he wants/needs.  By offering hourly services or packages the lawyer can receive help with just one item or several (legal forms, email management, calendar management, transcription) or whatever is overwhelming him at the time.  There is no overhead to the lawyer so the financial aspect is reasonable for him/her.

AS A RESULT, THE LAWYER saves money, feels in control of his practice, and feels like a weight has been lifted off his shoulders.  He/she knows I’m here whenever help is needed.  Knowing I am reliable and here when you need help gives you peace of mind.
